Arsenal have decided to end their pursuit of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo and instead are setting their sights on two standout performers from the Premier League: Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze and Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, as reported by Spanish outlet Diario AS.
At 24 years old, Rodrygo is believed to be open to leaving Los Blancos, particularly after falling down the pecking order under the leadership of Real Madrid’s current head coach Xabi Alonso. However, before committing to a transfer, the winger is said to be demanding reassurances from Alonso regarding more consistent playing time in the upcoming season.
Currently, Real Madrid are open to selling three players this summer, and Rodrygo is believed to be among those available for the right offer. Arsenal, in response to this uncertainty, have decided to divert their attention toward Premier League-based targets, namely Eze and Gordon, both of whom have demonstrated consistent quality and versatility in domestic competition.
