Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has reaffirmed her intention to return to the Senate on Tuesday, citing a court judgment backing her move.
Akpoti-Uduaghan, currently facing suspension, made this declaration during a media interaction while attending a training program in her constituency on Saturday. She emphasized that her suspension had significantly hindered her from carrying out her constitutional legislative responsibilities.
“I have just about two months left before the six-month suspension duration lapses. Nevertheless, I have written once more to the Senate, informing them that I will be resuming on the 22nd, which falls on Tuesday, by God’s special grace,” she stated confidently.
