Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), has shared insights into his luxury lifestyle amidst an ongoing immigration battle in the United Kingdom. Known for driving high-end cars and wearing designer clothes, the 44-year-old pastor claims his lifestyle is a deliberate strategy to inspire young people.

Immigration Challenges in the UK

Adegboyega has faced legal battles regarding his immigration status. He arrived in the UK in 2005 on a visitor’s visa but stayed beyond its expiration. Recently, the UK’s immigration upper tribunal ruled for his deportation, stating that he had applied to remain in the country on human rights grounds.

Funding His Lifestyle

In court, Adegboyega explained that his wife, Mary Olubukola Alade, who earns £100,000 annually as an employee of AON, supports his lifestyle. He emphasized that his work with the church is unpaid, and his wife funds his personal expenses.

“I live with my partner, Mary, who earns £100,000 per year. I spend my time working for the church without pay and am entirely supported by her,” Adegboyega stated.

Motivating Young People

Adegboyega argued that his extravagant lifestyle is aimed at inspiring young people, who form the majority of his congregation. He believes showcasing legitimate wealth can guide them toward entrepreneurship and other lawful ways of achieving success.

“I dress the way I do and drive luxury cars to demonstrate to young people that legitimate wealth is achievable,” he explained.

Denying Allegations

Despite the tribunal’s decision, Adegboyega has rejected the deportation ruling, dismissing it as an attempt to tarnish his reputation. Speaking confidently, he reassured his followers:

“No amount of persecution can bring me down. Living in London, a city notorious for its challenges, I have survived and thrived. I am proud of my accomplishments here and remain steadfast.”

Resilience Amid Criticism

Pastor Adegboyega remains unshaken by criticisms, emphasizing that he has never misused church funds. “All my possessions are funded by Mary, not the church,” he affirmed.

As a figure admired by some and scrutinized by others, Adegboyega’s story highlights his commitment to inspiring others while navigating personal and legal challenges.
