The Nigerian star made an early impact by assisting Roland Sallai for the opening goal in the 29th minute. Osimhen then found the back of the net himself in the 71st minute, scoring Galatasaray’s third goal of the evening with clinical precision.
This impressive strike marked Osimhen’s 22nd league goal of the season, highlighting his remarkable consistency. Across all competitions, the 26-year-old forward has now accumulated an impressive 31 goals for the Yellow and Reds this campaign, further cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s top strikers.
Osimhen was substituted for Ahmed Kutucu with 14 minutes remaining, receiving a well-deserved ovation from the fans. The resounding victory allows Galatasaray to maintain their commanding lead in the Turkish Super Lig, sitting on 80 points and preserving a five-point advantage over rivals Fenerbahçe.
Okan Buruk’s men are set to continue their title charge when they face Sivasspor next Saturday, aiming to strengthen their grip on the top spot.
