Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, will play a prominent role at the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Launch of the Humanitarian and Resilience Investing (HRI) Roadmap for Africa
A major focus of Shettima’s engagements will be the unveiling of the Humanitarian and Resilience Investing (HRI) Roadmap for Africa. This initiative, developed in partnership with the African Development Bank and other stakeholders, seeks to establish public-private partnerships and increase investments in Africa’s emerging markets.
Co-chairing the Digital Trade Forum
Shettima will also co-chair a high-level forum titled “Turning Digital Trade into a Catalyst for Growth in Africa” at the Pischa Congress Centre. This discussion aims to explore how private-sector innovation can accelerate the implementation of the AfCFTA Digital Trade Protocol, adopted by the African Union in January 2024.
Panelist for “Global Risks 2025”
The Vice President will participate as a panelist in the “Global Risks 2025” session at the Aspen 2 Congress Centre. This panel will address key geopolitical, technological, and environmental risks shaping the global landscape in the near future.
