A wave of fear swept across the peaceful Zuru Emirate in Kebbi State early Monday as disturbing news spread that a group of heavily armed bandits stormed the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) in Maga, located within the Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area. The attackers reportedly launched the raid late in the night, leaving behind chaos, grief, and unanswered questions.

During the violent attack, the Vice Principal of the institution, Malam Hassan Yakubu Makuku, was shot and killed. Sources revealed that he lost his life while courageously trying to protect the students from harm. The bandits abducted several female students, sparking fear and deep concern among parents, residents, and authorities.
