UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer warmly welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Downing Street on Saturday, reinforcing Britain’s steadfast support for Ukraine. “In partnership with our allies, we must enhance preparations for European security guarantees while maintaining dialogue with the United States,” Starmer stated.

£2.26 Billion Loan Agreement to Bolster Ukraine’s Defense
In a significant development, the UK and Ukraine finalized a £2.26 billion ($2.84 billion) loan agreement aimed at bolstering Kyiv’s defense capabilities. The funds, derived from immobilized Russian sovereign assets, will be allocated to weapons production within Ukraine.

Rutte, in a BBC interview, urged Zelensky to mend relations with Trump to ensure continued US backing for Ukraine’s defense efforts.
