The UEFA Champions League continues to deliver thrilling individual performances, with Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane making a notable move on the competition’s scoring table this season.
During Bayern’s 2–0 victory over Union Saint-Gilloise on Wednesday, Kane found the net twice. That double strike lifted his total Champions League output for the current campaign to seven goals.
Prior to that encounter, Kane had registered five goals, while both Osimhen and Haaland were already sitting on six goals each. The latest update means the Bayern striker has overtaken the two prolific forwards in the seasonal rankings.
As it stands, the Champions League’s leading scorers reflect the intense attacking quality across Europe’s elite clubs, with multiple top forwards separated by narrow margins.
UEFA Champions League Top Goalscorers (So Far)
- 11 goals – Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid)
- 7 goals – Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
- 6 goals – Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United)
- 6 goals – Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
- 6 goals – Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray)
With several knockout fixtures still to come, the race for the Golden Boot remains open, and further changes at the top of the chart are expected as the tournament progresses.
