The peaceful community of Tsibiri, located in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, has tragically descended into chaos after a deadly raid by armed bandits. The attackers reportedly massacred several villagers and abducted an undisclosed number of residents, leaving the area in complete desolation.
This distressing development was disclosed by a respected security commentator known as Bakatsine via a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday.
In his statement, the analyst described the horrific transformation of the once-vibrant town into a land of silence and sorrow.
“Tsibiri town in Maradun LGA of Zamfara State has been reduced to a graveyard. Bandits have taken lives, kidnapped many, and left destruction behind. This is beyond insecurity—it reflects total abandonment. How many more communities must be destroyed before urgent measures are taken?” he lamented.
Photographs attached to the post reveal the disturbing aftermath of the raid, showing the devastation wrought on the community.
At the time this report was compiled, there has been no formal response or statement from either the Zamfara State Government or any national security body concerning the attack on Tsibiri.
