Former and just re-elected President Donald Trump has pledged to take significant legislative action on gender policies, claiming that current measures under President Joe Biden’s administration are flawed.
In a recent video shared by media consultant and activist JC Okechukwu on his X account, Trump criticized Biden’s approach, calling it “gender insanity” and asserting that it needs urgent reversal. His proposed policy changes, aimed at “protecting children,” include rolling back gender-affirming care and implementing a definition of gender that only recognizes male and female, based on birth assignment.
Trump declared, “On Day One, I Will Revoke Biden’s Cruel Policy, And US Will Only Recognize Two Genders.”He emphasized that his first priority would be to dismantle the current gender policies, which he described as historically unprecedented and damaging. His goal is to pressure Congress to overturn Biden’s rules and set a clear national standard limiting gender recognition.
According to Trump, this move would reinforce traditional views and protect minors from what he considers harmful medical and social practices.A key aspect of Trump’s plan involves restoring Title IX protections to bar transgender women from competing in women’s sports. He expressed his belief that the nation should not endorse the notion of children being born in the “wrong gender,” condemning puberty blockers, gender-affirming treatments, and surgeries for minors as forms of child abuse.
