Former U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that a revenue-sharing deal on Ukrainian critical minerals is expected to be signed soon. Speaking during a meeting with his Cabinet on Monday, Trump emphasized that discussions are ongoing between the United States and Ukraine, particularly regarding American companies’ involvement in Ukraine’s energy sector.

According to LMSINT MEDIA, a U.S. delegation engaged in diplomatic talks with Ukrainian officials on Sunday, followed by discussions with Russian representatives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday. The primary focus of the negotiations was a potential Black Sea ceasefire, but Trump disclosed that other key topics have emerged, including the management and ownership of Ukrainian power plants.

“We are currently discussing territorial boundaries and demarcation lines. There’s also a debate over the ownership of power plants, with some advocating for U.S. control due to our expertise in energy management,” Trump stated.

The potential minerals agreement aligns with broader U.S. interests in securing critical resources and ensuring stable geopolitical relations in Eastern Europe. As the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, energy and resource management remain crucial factors in negotiations.
