German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have officially finalized the acquisition of highly rated Nigerian winger, Sani Suleiman, according to reports from LMSINT MEDIA.
The promising wide attacker made the switch to the Red Bull Arena from Slovakian outfit AS Trenčín, marking a major step forward in his rapidly developing football career. At just 19 years old, Suleiman’s move to one of Germany’s top clubs underlines his growing reputation as one of Nigeria’s most exciting young talents.
During his time with AS Trenčín, the Nigerian youngster delivered impressive performances that caught the attention of scouts across Europe. In 59 competitive appearances, Suleiman found the back of the net 16 times and also contributed seven assists, showcasing his ability to influence games both as a scorer and a creator.
Before his move to Europe, Suleiman began his professional journey in Nigeria with Akwa United, a club competing in the Nigeria National League (NNL). He joined AS Trenčín in September 2024, where he quickly adapted to European football and developed into a key attacking option.
With his pace, dribbling ability, and attacking intelligence, Suleiman’s move to RB Leipzig represents both a personal milestone and another example of Nigerian youth talent earning opportunities at the highest level of European football.
