During an interfaith iftar with media executives held at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Tinubu emphasized that he had paid close attention to the discussions about the tariffs impacting media operations.

“I have listened attentively to your concerns. It feels like a collaborative effort today. The issue of tariffs was a key topic of discussion this afternoon,” he stated.

The President acknowledged that he could not immediately confirm whether actions had already been taken regarding the tariffs affecting media organizations. However, he promised to ensure that any oversights would be addressed promptly.

“If any aspect was overlooked, I will personally go back to make the necessary corrections,” Tinubu assured the attendees.

President Tinubu further commended media organizations for their invaluable contributions to national development. He highlighted the crucial role that the media plays in job creation, public education, and information dissemination.
