President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday, hosted the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Mr. Yu Dunhai, at the State House in Abuja. The Ambassador arrived in the company of Mr. Zhu Songbo, a senior representative from the Chinese Embassy, marking another diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and China.
The meeting was officially confirmed by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, who shared the update through his verified X handle. His announcement highlighted the significance of the courtesy visit and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to maintaining mutually beneficial ties with global partners.
This new visit further reinforces the government’s intention to expand strategic partnerships and create more opportunities for national growth. As both countries deepen their diplomatic connections, Nigerians expect more developments around economic cooperation, infrastructure financing, and technology transfer.
