The President restated this commitment during the graduation ceremony of 1,187 newly trained cadets at the Nigeria Police Academy in Kano.

Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, President Tinubu expressed pride in the progress recorded by the Police Academy, noting its evolution into a respected degree-awarding institution capable of producing competent and disciplined officers. He highlighted that the Academy’s steady transformation reflects the government’s broader vision of building a police force that is modern, professional, accountable, and capable of addressing Nigeria’s changing security environment.
