Tinubu Appoints MKO Abiola’s Daughter as DG of CLTC — NANS Applauds Decision

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Ms. Derinsola Abiola, daughter of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola, as the new Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC). This move has received commendations from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), who described the appointment as a “perfect fit for the role.”

According to NANS, Ms. Abiola’s prior track record positioned her as the ideal person to lead the CLTC. Before her elevation, she served as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Citizenship and Leadership, where she consistently demonstrated exceptional focus, competence, and dedication to advancing national development, promoting civic responsibility, and empowering Nigerian youth.
