Late Friday night, tragedy struck Illela-Baraya Village, located in the Gwadabawa Local Government Area of Sokoto State, as armed bandits launched a brutal assault that left three villagers dead.

According to intelligence gathered by Zagazola Makama, the attackers stormed the village around 10:00 PM in large numbers, firing indiscriminately at residents. The ambush led to the fatal wounding of three individuals, who sadly did not survive despite urgent medical efforts.
