The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Plc has unveiled an ambitious five-year plan to achieve group revenue of N300 billion by 2029, underscoring its commitment to growth and operational transformation.

Dr. Sola Obabori, Group Executive Director for International Business and Corporate Services, shared this vision during the “Bell Ringing and Facts Behind the Figures” event hosted at the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) in Lagos.

Strategic Growth Pillars

Dr. Obabori highlighted four key pillars driving the transformation:

  1. Accelerated Business Growth: Expanding service offerings and increasing market share.
  2. Operational Excellence: Ensuring top-notch service delivery across all operations.
  3. Digital Leadership: Integrating technology to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  4. People and Culture Transformation: Building a workforce aligned with the company’s growth goals.

“We are focused on achieving specific performance targets by 2029 while continuously diversifying our services,” Obabori stated.

Revenue Projections: Year-by-Year Breakdown

NAHCO’s revenue targets show significant growth over the next five years:

  • 2024: N38.49 billion
  • 2025: N71.12 billion
  • 2026: N101.93 billion
  • 2027: N146.07 billion
  • 2028: N209.34 billion
  • 2029: N300 billion

Dr. Obabori explained how various business segments would contribute to this growth:

  • Ground Handling: N120 billion
  • Cargo Handling: N40 billion
  • Logistics Services: N36 billion
  • Subsidiaries Contributions:
    • NAHCO Free Zone: N15 billion
    • NAHCO Commodities: N80 billion
    • Travel & Hospitality: N7 billion
    • Aviation Academy: N2 billion

“This projected trajectory requires us to prioritize operational efficiency and continuous performance improvement,” he added.

NAHCO’s Chairman, Dr. Seinde Fadeni, assured shareholders of the company’s dedication to consistent and high dividend payouts, a hallmark of NAHCO’s legacy.

Leveraging NGX for Transparency

Jude Chiemeka, CEO of the Nigerian Exchange, lauded NAHCO for utilizing the NGX platform to provide timely financial and operational updates. He praised the company’s leadership in ground handling services, which caters to both domestic and international airlines.
