Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has dismissed suggestions that the coalition-supported African Democratic Congress (ADC) could significantly influence the outcome of the 2027 general elections.According to him, the recent embrace of the ADC by opposition figures has ironically made them less effective rather than boosting their political weight. Governor Sule made this known on Friday during a media chat shortly after he paid a visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja. “I am not particularly concerned about the ADC,” Sule said. “From what I gathered, the ADC is not a splinter group from our party, the APC, but rather a breakaway faction from another political party. If that is the case, it means their strength has been reduced. They are not gaining ground — they are actually becoming weaker. So, as far as we are concerned in the APC, we are not worried about them.” The Governor stressed that the APC’s focus has never been on the activities of rival political groups but rather on strengthening its own structures and delivering on its promises to Nigerians. “We have never been overly concerned about the opposition,” he continued. “Our priority is always to focus on our own capacity and strategies — ensuring we fulfil our obligations to the Nigerian people. This is exactly what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has consistently demonstrated. All APC governors are equally working hard in their respective states to support this administration’s vision, and we will continue to do so.” Sule added that, on a personal level, he avoids getting distracted by the movements of other parties. “I don’t waste time monitoring the internal affairs of other parties. My interest is firmly on what my own party, the APC, is doing to serve the people,” he noted. On Yilwatda’s Appointment as APC Chairman The Governor also spoke about the recent appointment of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as the APC National Chairman, describing it as a timely and strategic decision that addresses long-standing concerns in the party’s North-Central zone. “The new chairman is very much in tune with the Renewed Hope Agenda. His appointment comes at the right time — exactly when a leader with his qualities is needed. For us in the North-Central zone, who have been calling for the return of the chairmanship to our region, we now have no reason to complain. The position is back in our zone, and that is a welcome development,” Sule affirmed.

But honestly, I can’t wait to see you, my friend. I can’t wait to see you all at Old Trafford, so I will be there on Saturday. See you soon!” This upcoming fixture is not just a friendly—it is also a nostalgic moment for fans, as it marks the return of one of Manchester United’s most celebrated goalkeepers to the stadium he once called home. Award-winning Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has shared a deeply personal revelation, admitting that at the age of 44, she still hasn’t truly experienced what she considers real love. Speaking candidly during an interview with Zeze Mills, the Afrobeat star explained that the only genuine and unconditional love she has ever felt is from her son, Jamil. She reflected on her past romantic relationships and concluded that none of them were built on true love — instead, they were driven by temporary emotional highs and infatuation. “I don’t think I’ve experienced true love apart from my son,” Savage confessed. “Every time I look back at all my relationships, I’m like, nah, that wasn’t love — I was just infatuated. At the time, I thought I was in love, but in reality, I wasn’t. Even when I was married, I don’t think I experienced true love.” The singer revealed that these reflections have led her to a painful but firm conclusion — perhaps love is simply not meant for her. Despite trying repeatedly over the years, she says her search for true, lasting love has been unsuccessful. “Maybe love isn’t for me because I have tried over and over again, so maybe love isn’t for me in this lifetime,” she added. LMSINT MEDIA recalls that Tiwa Savage tied the knot with her then-manager, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, in 2013. Unfortunately, their marriage faced numerous challenges and eventually ended in divorce in 2018 after all reconciliation efforts failed. Their union produced one child, Jamil, who remains her greatest source of love and joy. Tiwa Savage’s honest confession has sparked conversations about the difference between love and infatuation, with many fans praising her courage for speaking openly about such a sensitive and emotional subject.

The children are about six in number, but like I said, I will still do everything to support them,” he explained. The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has once again made a clear and personal prophecy regarding the manner and timing of his passing. Speaking during the ongoing RCCG International Convention themed “The Overcomers”, the highly respected cleric revealed that his death will occur on a Sunday — immediately after attending church service and eating one of his favourite meals, pounded yam. Adeboye’s Remarkable Death Prophecy Pastor Adeboye explained that death does not always have to be preceded by a prolonged illness or suffering. In his words: “I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness.” The prophecy, which was delivered with calm assurance, reflects the preacher’s long-standing emphasis on finishing life’s journey in peace and in the service of God. A Vision Previously Shared This revelation is not entirely new. Adeboye had first shared a similar vision two years ago, where he described his passing in almost identical terms. His consistency in retelling this prophetic insight suggests that it holds deep spiritual significance for him and his ministry. Message to Believers While delivering a sermon titled “Possess Your Possessions”, Pastor Adeboye urged Christians to boldly claim the promises of God and take spiritual authority over what rightfully belongs to them through Christ. His statement was both a call to faith and a reminder that a life dedicated to God ends with victory, not defeat. The pastor’s words have sparked reflection among many followers, encouraging them to think not only about their spiritual inheritance but also about how they live each day in preparation for eternity.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD All of us must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent me, because there is little time left before the night falls and all work comes to an end (John 9:4 NLT). There’re Christians who mistakenly believe they will have more opportunities to serve the Lord after the Rapture, but this notion is incorrect. According to the Scriptures, the Millennial Kingdom, or the 1,000 years of peace, is not primarily about us. It’s a period ordained by God for Israel. God promised them that time of peace, and they’ll indeed receive it. The Jewish calendar, suspended for 2,000 years, will resume for a final seven-year period leading into the Millennial reign. Following this, Jesus will return from heaven and set up His headquarters in Jerusalem, reigning not only as King of the Jews, but as King over the entire world. David will also return to reign over Israel, while Jesus reigns over the world. We’ll be with Jesus, reigning with Him, ensuring everything runs smoothly. So, our ministry does not operate during the millennium; instead, our service at that time would be to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our role throughout the millennium will be to perform angelic duties. The ministers during the Millennial Kingdom will predominantly be the Jews who’d be fulfilling prophecies and promises made to their nation, much as we have done over the past 2,000 years. While with Jesus, carrying out angelic functions, it’ll be a magnificent time in preparation for the great judgment, where we would even judge angels. Afterwards, we will move into the holy city and inhabit the new earth. Glory be to God! This is why we must attach a sense of urgency and responsibility to fulfilling our calling here on earth. This is our window of opportunity to carry out our divine ministry. After the trumpet sounds and we’re caught up from here to meet the Lord in the air as the Bible reveals in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, the earthly opportunities for ministry and service will come to an end. I urge you today to be diligent and faithful in fulfilling your purpose and calling while you still have the opportunity. Think like Paul the apostle, who said, “If I proclaim the Message, it’s not to get something out of it for myself. I’m compelled to do it, and doomed if I don’t” (1 Corinthians 9:16 MSG). Prioritize your spiritual assignments, knowing that your actions today carry eternal significance and rewards. PRAYER*Dear Father, thank you for your grace at work in me to be diligent and faithful in leading souls to Christ. I’m convinced that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation; therefore, I’m committed to its spread around the world, taking advantage of the opportunity available now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. The Benue State Government has officially honoured Nigerian football icon Francisca Mlumun Ordega (OON) in recognition of her exceptional contributions to sports, particularly her outstanding performance at the recently concluded 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). During a grand state reception hosted in Makurdi on Wednesday night, Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia announced a monumental package of rewards for the Super Falcons winger. These include a cash prize of ₦50 million, the naming of a street in her honour, and the allocation of a fully furnished three-bedroom apartment situated in the central area of Makurdi, the Benue State capital. The celebration, meticulously organised by the state government, served as a tribute to Ordega’s contributions to Nigeria’s victorious campaign at WAFCON 2024, where the Super Falcons once again cemented their dominance in African women’s football. Governor Alia, while addressing the gathering, lauded Ordega for her dedication, professionalism, and impact on sports development. He expressed that her achievements not only elevate Benue State on the global sports map but also serve as an enduring inspiration to aspiring young athletes, particularly female footballers, across Nigeria. “Francisca Ordega has made Benue State and Nigeria proud. Her commitment, discipline, and talent deserve to be celebrated. This is our little way of saying thank you,” the governor said. This honour comes as a significant moment for Ordega, whose football journey has inspired countless young talents. With her career spanning several clubs across Europe, Asia, and Africa, she remains one of Nigeria’s most decorated female footballers, playing a pivotal role in the Super Falcons’ successes over the years.
Chelsea Football Club have confirmed they will not be returning to the transfer market in search of a replacement for injured defender Levi Colwill, despite speculation following his recent setback. According to trusted football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have not triggered any emergency measures or short-term recruitment plans to sign another central defender. Instead, the club is placing full confidence in their existing defensive options — including their latest acquisition Jorrel Hato, who is capable of operating both as a centre-back and a left-back. Colwill’s Injury Confirmed On Thursday, Chelsea officially announced that Colwill will miss the majority of the 2025/26 season due to an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Medical scans revealed the extent of the damage, prompting the 22-year-old England international to undergo surgery immediately. The injury occurred earlier this week during pre-season training, shortly after Colwill had rejoined the squad for preparations ahead of the new campaign. The loss is considered a significant blow to Chelsea’s defensive depth, but the management is confident in the squad’s ability to adapt without seeking an external replacement. Sevilla Reject Juanlu Offer from Napoli Meanwhile, in Spain, LaLiga side Sevilla have rejected a €17 million formal bid from Napoli for their young full-back Juanlu. As per Romano’s report, Sevilla have set their asking price at €20 million, in addition to a sell-on clause in any potential deal. The Spanish club remains firm in their valuation, signalling they are in no rush to part ways with the talented defender unless their demands are met. For Chelsea fans, the decision to rely on the current roster — rather than diving back into the market — reflects a calculated approach, especially with versatile players like Hato providing cover. For Napoli, negotiations with Sevilla will need to intensify if they hope to secure Juanlu before the transfer window closes.
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Oxlade has opened up about a pivotal moment in his career, revealing that his colleague Fireboy DML played a major role in shaping his ability to create well-structured music. The Kulosa hitmaker explained that during the early stages of his career, he was fortunate to receive mentorship from Fireboy, which he described as a life-changing experience. According to Oxlade, Fireboy’s exceptional skill in songwriting set a benchmark for him and helped him refine his creative process. Oxlade noted that Fireboy’s mastery of lyrics and composition, often referred to in the music industry as a strong pen game, remains unmatched in Nigeria’s contemporary music scene. “When it comes to songwriting, nobody can touch him [Fireboy]. I learned how to properly compose music from Fireboy because he was already miles ahead of me at the time,” Oxlade shared during a recent livestream interview with popular Nigerian streamer Shank Comics. The singer went further to highlight that Fireboy’s influence was instrumental in his transition from making basic tracks to producing well-arranged, professional music. He credited Fireboy for giving him an opportunity that elevated his artistry and career path. “He was a big part of my transition into making proper music before I eventually found my own sound. Him putting me on was truly life-changing,” Oxlade concluded. The revelation sheds light on the spirit of collaboration and mentorship within the Nigerian music industry, where established artists continue to guide emerging talents, fostering creativity and excellence in Afrobeats.
