The Federal Government has issued a strong directive calling for an urgent rescue mission following the kidnapping of several schoolgirls from the Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, located in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. Authorities have firmly condemned the attack, stressing that such acts threaten the safety, education, and future of young Nigerian girls.
The Minister reassured citizens that security agencies have been mobilized to launch a coordinated and immediate operation aimed at rescuing the abducted schoolgirls without delay. He emphasized that the administration is unwavering in its commitment to protecting students across the country and preventing similar attacks on educational institutions.
Idris added that the Federal Government remains determined to restore peace within the region, strengthen school safety measures, and ensure that those responsible for the abduction face justice. He reiterated that the safety and return of the kidnapped students remain a top national priority.
