Swift Federal Government Intervention Begins After Kebbi Schoolgirls Abduction | Latest National Security Update

The Federal Government has issued a strong directive calling for an urgent rescue mission following the kidnapping of several schoolgirls from the Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, located in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. Authorities have firmly condemned the attack, stressing that such acts threaten the safety, education, and future of young Nigerian girls.

According to the statement released on Monday, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, expressed deep concern over the incident. He noted that the government fully understands the emotional trauma and distress faced by parents, guardians, and communities affected by the abduction.

The Minister reassured citizens that security agencies have been mobilized to launch a coordinated and immediate operation aimed at rescuing the abducted schoolgirls without delay.
