Renowned Nigerian Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti recently had a harrowing experience while staying in a hotel in the United States, as he narrowly avoided being hit by a stray bullet.
Recounting the shocking event, Seun revealed that the bullet suddenly crashed through the window of his hotel room without warning. The frightening moment was captured and shared in a viral video on his official Instagram page on Sunday evening.
Visibly shaken by the incident, the singer expressed disbelief and concern over the reality of gun violence in America. In his own words, he said:
“I read somewhere that these are the civilized people.
Tell me you are in America without telling me you are in America.
I am in my hotel room just chilling and boom—this happened.”
