During an interview on Siro Lopez’s YouTube channel (as reported by GOAL), Scaloni emphasized that although Messi remains beyond comparison, other outstanding talents are dominating the global football scene.
“I will set Messi aside because he is unique,” Scaloni remarked, highlighting the timeless nature of Messi’s football brilliance.
He went on to name Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, Julian Alvarez, and Lautaro Martinez as standout players in today’s game. According to Scaloni, these athletes represent the finest performers in world football at the moment.
Despite being 37 years old and nearing the conclusion of his illustrious career, Lionel Messi continues to be an unmatched figure in the sport. Having secured eight Ballon d’Or titles, Messi holds the distinction of being the most celebrated footballer in history.
His legacy includes an astounding 46 trophies, making him the most decorated player of all time. In the current season with Inter Miami, Messi has netted 10 goals and contributed three assists across 15 appearances, proving he remains a decisive force on the field.
