In the late hours of Saturday, a Russian airstrike on Mykolaiv, located in southern Ukraine, resulted in injuries to three women and triggered a series of fires across residential areas. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service confirmed that one woman required hospitalization, while the other two received outpatient treatment.
According to Vitaly Kim, the regional governor, the attack not only injured civilians but also damaged several homes. Kim shared updates through a post on the official Telegram channel, emphasizing the impact of the assault which came just a day after a tragic strike on Kryvyi Rih that killed 19 people, including nine children.
The emergency response team released dramatic photos and videos showing firefighters extinguishing flames engulfing a residential building during the night.
As of this report, there has been no official response from the Russian government regarding the Mykolaiv airstrike. Both nations continue to deny deliberately targeting civilians, despite widespread devastation across numerous Ukrainian cities since the full-scale invasion began in 2022.
