American hip-hop star Rick Ross has revealed his ultimate dream music collaboration, mentioning legendary artists from different generations and music genres.
During a recent livestream interview, the founder of Maybach Music Group spoke about the kind of collaboration he considers to be the highest level in music history. According to him, his dream record would feature reggae icon Bob Marley, Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, and Grammy-winning Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy.
Speaking further, the rapper said that if he had the opportunity to make the collaboration happen, he would gladly include British-Nigerian music legend Sade Adu in the project. He admitted that working with Sade might be difficult, but he still considers her one of the greatest voices of all time.
The statement from Rick Ross has generated conversations among music fans, as the combination of reggae, Afrobeat, Afrobeats, soul, and hip-hop would create a unique sound capable of reaching different generations of listeners worldwide.
