Rhapsody of Realities November 18th 2025, TRAVAILING DEEPLY IN PRAYER FOR SOULS

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

One of the most powerful lessons I’ve learnt in soul winning is the value of persistence in prayer. When you’re interceding for someone’s salvation, you move into deep travail, wailing in the Spirit. You already said before entering your place of prayer, “Today’s prayer is deep travail” because you know the worth of a soul.

When the Lord Jesus spoke of the man who found one pearl of great price, He said the man sold all he had to obtain it (Matthew 13:45-46). That’s what a soul means to God, and that’s what we understand as soul winners that make us groan in prayer and keep pressing until a soul is won and established in the Kingdom.

When you intercede like this, you continue in the Spirit until there’s a release. The love of Christ compels you. You’re not praying out of selfish interest. You’re not crying in prayer over someone you want to marry or do business with; it’s strictly for their salvation. You’re driven by love and the Spirit’s burden for a life that must be transformed, a soul that must be won for Christ.

Read our opening scripture again; it lets you know that in the place of intercession, you pray passionately that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shines in the hearts of those who haven’t yet known the Lord, prevailing over darkness, religion and deception.

You don’t stop; you declare that every resistance in their hearts to the Gospel is broken, they’re delivered from Satan’s dominion, and as they hear the message, their hearts are open to receive it for their salvation. Hallelujah!

Remember, “…The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]” (James 5:16 AMPC). Your heartfelt intercessory prayers will make the required power available for their salvation.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for counting me faithful and committing to me the ministry of reconciliation. I’m stirred and compelled by your love to intercede for the lost, praying with passion and divine urgency. And as I do, they’re delivered from darkness into light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Amen.

Eternal life, divine energy, supernatural wisdom, peace, and prosperity work mightily in me. I walk in dominion, victory, and unstoppable progress. The Spirit of God beautifies my life and leads me into continual success. My life is from glory to glory, strength to strength, and grace to grace.

My gates are open continually, and shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring unto me the wealth of the nations. I live in Zion and draw life from there, therefore I am not affected by the financial systems of this world; I am above them. I am heavenly. I am the custodian of the wealth and riches of Christ. I am made for life and set up for honour, in the path of supernatural success! I am rich! —Permanently Prosperous! I always have enough to require no aid or support. I am sufficient in God’s sufficiency. Money gravitates towards me by free course, in an increasing measure. I am riding upon the high places of the earth and feeding on the heritage of Jacob. I prosper in all things. I am accomplishing great feats by the Spirit. My life is an absolute manifestation of the glory of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Speak in tongues.
