But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

As Christians, when we say Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives, it means more than He being our saviour. The Hebrew and Greek words for “Lord” carry the same meaning, which includes master, caretaker, bread provider, sustainer, boss, and teacher. This is the essence of what it means for Jesus to be Lord; it means He’s your sustainer, your master, your caretaker, your bread provider, and your teacher.

If this is true, and thank God it is, then it means He’s more than capable of taking care of you. You don’t have to beg Him to take care of you or plead with Him to provide your needs with a sense of desperation as if He’s reluctant to do so. Such a disposition reflects a lack of understanding of who Jesus is as your Lord and Sustainer.

Read His words in Matthew 7:11, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” Ponder this for a moment. You have to learn to trust the Lord and rely solely on His Word. Act on His Word. The world’s systems are failing.

In the days of Joseph, the Bible records that money failed. Inflation was rampant and the currency became worthless. But in the midst of that crisis, God’s people experienced supernatural prosperity. Why? Their trust was in the Lord, their sustainer.

The Lord Jesus is more than able to sustain you through every season of life. Read Matthew 6:25-34 where He stresses your value and then tells you what to do and what not to do. So, act on His Word today. The triumphant life is for those who act on God’s Word.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for being my Lord and Sustainer. I refuse to be anxious about anything because you are my caretaker, provider, teacher, source and sustainer. My trust is in you, and I function in supernatural prosperity as I live by your Word, in victory every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DAILY AFFIRMATIONS:

I hold fast to my confession of God’s Word. I refuse to give Satan a chance. It makes no difference the contrary evidences and adversities he may stir against me; “I’m a victor in Christ Jesus! Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world.” No matter what happens, I refuse to waver. I refuse to allow any circumstance dictate the outcome of my life. I don’t stagger at the Word of God through unbelief; I’m ever strong in faith, giving glory to God! No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body because I’m joined to the Lord and I’m one spirit with Him. Divine life and unfailing health and strength are at work in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body.

Out of my belly flow rivers of living water; therefore, I dispense life and health to my world. The Holy Spirit makes intercession through me. I am one with the Lord, united with Him, one in spirit and purpose. I am joined unto the Lord. God has made me a fountain of living water and I overflow with the same life-giving spirit that flows from God, in perfect harmony. I am the effulgence of God’s glory. The glory of God infuses my being, keeping me strong and well every day. The joy of the Lord is my strength. I have all things that pertain to life and godliness. There is no trace of sickness, disease, or infirmity in my life. As a child of God, all I know and experience is divine health, righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

I have God’s genetic material, His “DNA” resident in me. I have an excellent life that is sickness-free. I enjoy everything that the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ made available to me. I am indestructible and no sickness can thrive in my body. I walk in victory and dominion over diseases and the forces of this world every day. There’s no death in my life, family, finances, business, or job because the One in me is greater. I am a life-giving spirit and everything I touch or connect to receives life. Christ’s glory is manifested in my body as I flourish in divine health every day of my life. I live above sickness and disease. My life is excellent and full of glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
