Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16).

Light is that which describes; it gives direction. Light doesn’t argue with darkness; it simply shines and dispels darkness. You’re the light of the world; that means your presence in any environment dispels darkness and brings enlightenment. It brings guidance and reveals truth.

Your life as a Christian is meant to expose deception, bring hope, and illuminate the path of righteousness for others. God expects His glory in you to radiate through every part of your daily living. He wants His life and righteousness to be visible through your words, your conduct, your love-walk, and through your witnessing.

Notice again the profundity of the Master’s statement about you: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-16).

Refuse to be a hidden Christian. Let your faith speak. Let your compassion lead. Let your words, actions and outlook on life reflect your convictions about Christ and His glorious Gospel. Even those who are yet to read the Bible should read Christ in you, for you’re His Epistle (2 Corinthians 3:3). You’re the effulgence of His glory.

Therefore, illuminate your world, your environment and the lives of those around you with the life and light of Christ that’s in you. Isaiah 60:1 declares, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.” This isn’t optional; it’s a divine mandate. God has made you a burning and a shining light. So light up your world with the Gospel of His truth, righteousness and grace. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for making me the light of the world. I shine brightly in my world today, illuminating lives with your love, truth and grace. My light draws men to Christ and glorifies you always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I have access to the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and I walk daily in inspired ideas, excellent judgment, and discerning ability. I am prudent, intelligent, and filled with knowledge. I make decisions with precision and grace, and I always arrive at the best outcomes because the Spirit of wisdom guides me. The Word of God has shaped my mind to think accurately and creatively. My thoughts, words, and actions align with God’s will for my life. I do not lack understanding; wisdom flows in me without restriction. My lips speak righteousness, truth, and solutions. I possess the knowledge of witty inventions and the capacity to execute ideas with excellence and skill. Nothing is too difficult for me, because Christ is my ability and my sufficiency.

I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality, power, and dominion. I function from a realm of superiority, mastery, and dominion. I reign in righteousness and carry the atmosphere of the Spirit everywhere I go. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper, and no negative force can influence my mind or my life. I am kept in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on God’s Word. The grace of God is at work in me, lifting me, promoting me, and attracting the right people, resources, and opportunities into my life. I am positioned for success and triumph on every side. Everything I do prospers, and everywhere I go, I shine with divine favour. I have a sound mind—sharp, stable, empowered, and full of insight. My decisions are excellent, and my results are outstanding.

Each day, I rise with renewed strength, energy, and vitality. My spirit is fervent, my mind is alert, and my body is strong. I live above stress, fear, worry, and negativity. Joy floods my heart continually, and the peace of God garrisons my soul. I function in the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. I am a king and a priest unto God. My words carry power and authority, shaping my world in line with God’s promises. I walk in abundance, excellence, victory, and divine influence. My life is filled with the goodness of God, and His glory is revealed in me daily. Amen. Speak in tongues.
