Real Madrid have reportedly made a firm decision not to match Kylian Mbappé’s salary for fellow forward Vinicius Júnior, despite both being top-performing players at the club.
According to a detailed report by SER Deportivos, the Spanish giants have decided to give Vinicius a one-year grace period to significantly improve his performance. Should he fail to meet expectations, Real Madrid are prepared to put him up for sale instead of increasing his pay.
Vinicius has reportedly been demanding a €30 million annual salary package, including a substantial renewal bonus. This figure exceeds the wage structure Real Madrid are willing to offer, even for a player of his caliber.
The 25-year-old attacker has maintained his firm stance on the salary proposal, which has caused a stall in negotiations over the past several months.
However, it remains uncertain whether a mutual agreement will be reached anytime soon. The coming months will be pivotal in determining Vinicius’s future with the La Liga giants.
