The Vatican has officially released the final testament of Pope Francis, marking a historical moment for the Catholic Church and faithful across the globe. As confirmed by LMSINT MEDIA, the Catholic world was enveloped in mourning on Monday after news broke of Pope Francis’ passing at the age of 88.
Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Argentina, Pope Francis made history on March 13, 2013, when he became the first Latin American Pope and spiritual leader of over 1.3 billion Catholics. His final Will, now publicly available, reflects his enduring humility and lifelong devotion to peace.
The Will, titled “Testament of the Holy Father Francis”, is dated June 29, 2022, and was published through the official Holy See website. In it, Pope Francis expresses his desire for a modest burial within the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major, a sacred site he frequently visited during his Apostolic missions.
According to his instructions:
“My tomb shall be prepared in the side nave between the Pauline Chapel and the Sforza Chapel. It should be embedded in the ground, without elaborate decoration, marked only with the name: Franciscus.”
Pope Francis further noted that the burial expenses would be funded by a private donor, a detail already coordinated through Monsignor Rolandas Makrickas, the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Liberian Chapter.
In a deeply moving segment of his testament, the Pope offered the suffering of his final years to God, praying “for peace across nations and unity among mankind.”
This message comes at a time when the world continues to seek direction and compassion in the face of adversity. His last words are not only a spiritual guide but a call to humanity to pursue global brotherhood and healing.
