The Nigeria Police Force has successfully rescued popular TikTok content creator, Peller, after he was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
According to LMSINT MEDIA, the incident allegedly occurred on Wednesday evening while Peller was streaming live on TikTok. Viewers of the livestream reportedly witnessed unusual disruptions before the news of his abduction spread across social media platforms.
In a new development shared on Thursday morning, Peller’s close associate and fellow influencer, Sandra Benede, confirmed through a live video update that the police had rescued him.
Sandra revealed that Peller was now safe and currently in the custody of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO). She stated:
“They have seen him. The DPO has confirmed seeing him. They have not yet released full details, but Peller has been found and is safe.”
The incident highlights the increasing security risks for online influencers and celebrities in Nigeria, as kidnappings and similar crimes continue to rise across the country. Reports from reputable global organizations like the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) indicate that cases of abduction and insecurity remain a critical issue in West Africa, further emphasizing the importance of vigilance and law enforcement action.
