Paul Pogba, currently playing for AS Monaco, has shared his joy over the news of Marcus Rashford’s departure from Manchester United to Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
The deal between Manchester United and Barcelona has been finalized, with all necessary documentation completed to secure Rashford’s loan move to the La Liga champions. Rashford has since landed in Spain, where he is undergoing medical examinations with the Blaugrana to complete his transition.
Moreover, the agreement between both clubs features a buy option clause. Barcelona retains the right to make Rashford’s move permanent by paying €30 million, with this clause set to become actionable by June 2026.
Reacting to the move, Pogba conveyed his happiness for his former Manchester United teammate but did not hide his sentiment that the Red Devils are losing an outstanding talent.
While speaking during a conversation with popular American YouTuber and streamer IShowSpeed, Pogba was quoted by The Touchline expressing:
“That’s crazy. I’m happy for him.
Manchester United is losing a great player! That’s great for Barcelona.”
