Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reflected on his team’s underwhelming season and used the opportunity to take a playful swipe at long-time rivals Manchester United.

He added humorously:
“People say we are fourth now, but I say yeah, we could be 11th, 12th, 13th—or even 14th.”
This remark seemed to directly reference Manchester United’s current league position. As of now, United sit in 14th place, having suffered 14 losses in 32 games this season.
