Popular Nollywood star Peggy Ovire has finally addressed the swirling rumours regarding an alleged split from her husband and fellow actor, Frederick Leonard.
According to LMSINT MEDIA, Ovire recently posted a video clip showing her getting ready for a wedding ceremony. Interestingly, fans were quick to point out the absence of her wedding ring in the footage, fueling suspicions about trouble in her marriage.
In the video captioned “Wedding guest. Transition 101,” Peggy appeared radiant but noticeably ring-free, leading many followers to speculate further.
One inquisitive Instagram user, identified as @HoldMart, directly questioned the situation, commenting, “Where is the ring??” — a remark that intensified online discussions about a possible marital crisis.
Later on Wednesday evening, Ovire took to Instagram again, sharing a powerful message in response to the ongoing assumptions. She wrote:
“No matter what room I step in, I’m coming in as ME.”
It’s worth recalling that whispers about a rift in their relationship first began in 2024 when Peggy Ovire posted a solo Christmas picture dressed in pajamas — a holiday traditionally celebrated with loved ones, prompting followers to raise eyebrows.
