Omoyele Sowore Reveals Identity of Alleged AI Smart Glasses Thief at Abuja Police Protest

Nigerian social activist and political figure, Omoyele Sowore, has disclosed the identity of the individual accused of stealing his AI-powered smart glasses during a protest held at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.

According to a report by LMSINT MEDIA, Sowore had spearheaded a major protest on Monday, where retired police officers gathered to express their grievances concerning inadequate pension entitlements at the Force Headquarters.

Following the demonstration, Sowore raised concerns about his missing Ray-Ban smart glasses. A video recording from the protest scene allegedly captured a man removing the glasses directly from Sowore’s face.

Taking to his official Facebook page on Tuesday, Sowore claimed that the suspect is one Aku Victor Chiemere, identified as a staff cameraman working under the supervision of the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Muyiwa Adejobi.

Sowore posted,

“During yesterday’s historic #PoliceProtest held at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja, Aku Victor Chiemere, who serves as a staff cameraman under CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, committed an act of theft by taking my Ray-Ban AI smart glasses.

Such conduct is not just a petty crime but reflects a deeper criminal tendency orchestrated within the ranks of senior police officials.”

He further demanded that his stolen property be returned without delay and called for the legal prosecution of both CSP Muyiwa Adejobi and Aku Victor Chiemere. The charges he specified include theft, conspiracy, and official misconduct.
