The Bakaro/Dangikka Primary School Old Boys Association has called on Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, currently the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, to contemplate a run for the governorship of Bauchi State in 2027.
In their official communiqué, delivered by Secretary-General Umar Musa, the alumni stressed that Pate’s extensive background in health governance and policy would be invaluable in addressing the state’s developmental challenges.
The group pinpointed several critical sectors in need of urgent revitalization in Bauchi: healthcare, education, agriculture, housing, water infrastructure, security, and employment.
“Our appeal stems from his proven delivery and capability—not partisan loyalty,” the statement clarified.
