Odumodublvck Refuses 'Life-Changing' Money To Campaign Against Peter Obi

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as Odumodublvck, recently shared that he was offered a substantial sum of money to campaign against Labour Party’s Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election but chose to decline the offer. He made this revelation while addressing critics who accused him of expecting Peter Obi to promote his album, The Machine Is Coming, as a reward for his unwavering support.

Odumodublvck emphasized that his request for Obi to support his music release was not unreasonable. He defended his stance by expressing that his dedication to Obi had been profound, even suggesting he had made significant sacrifices on the politician’s behalf.

In a post on his X handle, Odumodublvck said, “Ask Abbas, I was offered an amount I had never imagined to go against Mr. Peter, but I declined it. Asking him to promote my new album isn’t too much, as I’m not the one seeking favors. I gave up a lot for this man. No worries. The Machine Is Coming.”

His decision not to accept the lucrative offer reflects his commitment to Obi and his belief that asking for album promotion was a modest request in exchange for his past loyalty.
