Wikki Tourists Football Club have officially confirmed the acquisition of nine new players as they prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The Bauchi-based club is strengthening its squad with a blend of experience and youthful energy to compete strongly in the new campaign.
Other new additions include:
- Philip Johnson – formerly with Akwa United
- Sani Ibrahim – from Inter Lagos
- Luis Dadong – from Kwara United
- Abdullahi Usman – from Sporting Lagos
- Idris Ashiru Dantata – from Malitakicare
- Kabiru Abdullahi – from Lobi Stars
- Abba Usman – from Nasarawa United
In addition to these signings, the club has handed Saddam Nahuta his first professional contract after his impressive displays with grassroots side Warinje FC. This move reflects the club’s commitment to nurturing young talent and integrating homegrown players into the NPFL stage.
The club is set to open their 2025/26 NPFL season with a highly anticipated clash against Plateau United. The match will take place at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, on Friday, August 22, 2025. Fans are expected to fill the stadium as the team kicks off what promises to be an exciting new era.
