Nollywood Star Tom Njemanze Seeks Financial Support for Urgent Cancer Treatment

Veteran Nollywood actor Tom Njemanze has reached out to the public, seeking financial assistance as he courageously battles cancer.

The renowned Nigerian actor, celebrated for his decades-long contribution to the film industry, is currently hospitalized and undergoing medical care. In a heartfelt plea shared on Tuesday, a video of the ailing actor went viral across various social media platforms, drawing attention to his urgent situation.

Acclaimed filmmaker Stanley Ontop brought further awareness to Njemanze’s health struggles by reposting the emotional video on his Instagram page. According to Ontop’s disclosure, Tom Njemanze has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is in critical need of funds to undergo life-saving surgery.

In the shared post, Stanley Ontop stated:

“Hello guys, one of our Nollywood legends is sick and needs urgent surgery.

Sir Tom Njemanze has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he needs your support to undergo surgery. Nothing is too small, fams. Help our legend live again.”

Tom Njemanze holds a distinguished position in the Nigerian movie industry, known for his iconic roles in films such as Issakaba, Tokunboh, Atosa, Pounds and Dollars, Osuofia in London, Igbotic Love, and Brain Box. His works have left an indelible mark on the Nollywood landscape.

This unfortunate appeal comes barely four months after another esteemed Nollywood veteran, John Amaefule, also called upon the public for financial support as he battled both partial stroke and cancer.
