The Nigerian military has successfully apprehended a notorious commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), popularly known as “Gentle,” alongside eight of his key accomplices during coordinated operations across Imo and Ebonyi States.

According to the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Magnus Kangye, who made this revelation during a press briefing held in Abuja on Thursday, the arrest marks a significant step forward in the ongoing military campaign to restore peace and stability in Nigeria’s South-East region.
