Nigeria Will Forever Remember Buhari’s Virtues – Tinubu Reassures Family

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given strong assurances to the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigeria will never forget the noble virtues he stood for.

During a condolence visit to the Buhari family in Kaduna on Friday, Tinubu emphasized that his administration is committed to preserving and sustaining the values, principles, and legacies of the late Nigerian leader.

He acknowledged the grief of the family while highlighting that Buhari’s life remains an inspiration to the nation.

“We are here to stand with you in this moment of grief and to reassure you that the country remembers and honors him. While his departure is a loss in the flesh, his spirit of patriotism, honesty, dedication, and hard work continues to guide us,” Tinubu said.

The President further pledged that his government would continue along the path of integrity and unity that Buhari firmly upheld. He prayed for God’s guidance over Nigeria and expressed optimism that the nation would remain united under the values that Buhari instilled.

In her response, the wife of the late former President, Aisha Buhari, expressed deep gratitude to President Tinubu, First Lady Remi Tinubu, and other members of government for their unwavering support since the passing of her husband.

She described the visit as a source of great comfort to the Buhari family and urged Nigerians to learn from and emulate the late leader’s outstanding virtues of patriotism, honesty, and integrity.
