Niger Gov Bago Reiterates Need for Collective Effort and Strong Collaboration Among Government Officials

Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has again underscored the importance of teamwork, unity, and strategic synergy among government functionaries as the state intensifies efforts toward sustainable development.

Speaking during a comprehensive capacity-building retreat attended by commissioners, special advisers, permanent secretaries, and local government chairmen, Governor Bago highlighted that effective coordination among all levels of leadership remains essential for meaningful progress. He urged the participants to embrace a shared vision, strengthen cooperation, and consistently exchange ideas that can transform governance in the state.

Governor Bago emphasized that purposeful collaboration would not only improve administrative efficiency but also foster innovation in addressing developmental challenges. According to him, government officials must be ready to broaden their perspectives, think creatively, and introduce new approaches that support the state’s long-term advancement.

He further noted that public officers must interact positively with one another, cultivate mutual respect, and stay committed to common goals that benefit communities across Niger State. Bago maintained that only through unified action can the administration achieve its mission of delivering impactful governance and meaningful growth.

In his words, “There is a strong need for teamwork among stakeholders in my administration. Everyone must relate harmoniously, share ideas, and consistently think outside the box to ensure the state continues to move forward.”

Governor Bago called on all participants to take the retreat seriously, apply the knowledge gained, and strengthen inter-departmental cooperation as they execute government policies. He affirmed that the state’s development agenda depends heavily on the dedication, creativity, and collective strength of all public officers.
