Netanyahu Vows To Eliminate Iran’s Terror Network With Trump’s Support

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reaffirmed his commitment to dismantling Iran’s terror network, emphasizing his confidence in achieving this objective with the unwavering support of US President Donald Trump.

Speaking alongside US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his first official visit to Israel, Netanyahu declared, “Over the past 16 months, Israel has delivered significant blows to Iran’s terror infrastructure. Under President Trump’s strong leadership, I am confident that we will finish the mission.”

US-Israel Stance on Iran’s Influence

Rubio underscored the threat posed by Iran, stating, “There can never be a nuclear Iran. Whether it’s Hamas, Hezbollah, violence in the West Bank, destabilization in Syria, or militias in Iraq, the common denominator remains Iran.”

US intelligence agencies recently warned both the Biden and Trump administrations that Israel may launch targeted strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities this year. While Israel is determined to prevent Iran from advancing its nuclear capabilities, Trump’s preference for a diplomatic resolution raises concerns about the potential for escalating conflict in the Middle East.

Gaza’s Future and US Military Support

Netanyahu and Trump have aligned on a strategic vision for Gaza. Netanyahu warned of severe consequences if hostages were not released, vowing to open the “gates of hell.”

Trump’s proposal to relocate Palestinians out of Gaza permanently sparked global debate. Commenting on the controversy, Rubio stated, “It may have surprised many, but we cannot keep repeating the same cycle that leads us back to the same situation.”

Amidst these developments, the US government has resumed arms shipments to Israel. Israel’s Ministry of Defense confirmed that heavy munitions, including 2,000-pound bombs, were delivered following Trump’s reversal of Biden-era restrictions on arms transfers. The Biden administration had previously withheld these weapons, citing concerns over their use in densely populated areas of Gaza.

Global Reactions to US-Israel Partnership

Gaza’s Government Media Office head, Salama Maroof, condemned the US decision to provide military aid instead of humanitarian support. “Rather than sending food, medicine, or shelter materials to Gaza’s victims, the United States, which claims to champion democracy and human rights, is supplying the Israeli military with 1,800 heavy MK bombs,” Maroof stated.
