Former BBNaija Season 9 contestant, Nelly Mbonu, has openly expressed disapproval over the participation of fellow housemates, Ozee and Ocee Mbadiwe, popularly known as the Mbadiwe Twins, stating they lacked merit for inclusion in the reality show.
During a recent interview with Hip TV, Nelly asserted that the twins brought no remarkable contributions to the Big Brother house throughout their stay. She emphasized that their presence lacked substance and originality.
“They didn’t bring anything noteworthy to the house,” Nelly stressed.
“Most housemates gave them more attention because of their name. That name alone made them a point of interest. But for me, it meant absolutely nothing,” Nelly declared.
She further dismissed the notion that a famous surname should influence anyone’s standing in the Big Brother house, noting that such favoritism was misplaced.
Nelly stated unequivocally that the Mbadiwe Twins should have exited the show as early as the first week, questioning their overall contribution to the game.
Though she acknowledged that the twins might have deserved to be part of the reality show in general, she believes Season 9 was not the right fit for them.
“They might deserve to be on Big Brother at some point, but not in Season 9,” she clarified.
Despite maintaining that she holds no personal grudge against the twins, Nelly admitted their actions and presence were deeply annoying to her.
“I’ve got nothing against them personally, but they really got on my nerves. They were irritating,” she concluded.
