The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has officially blacklisted renowned Fuji music icon, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly addressed as K1 De Ultimate, following an alleged aviation security breach at Abuja Airport.

This decision was made public by Michael Achimugu, NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, who disclosed during a press briefing in Abuja that the authority is currently conducting a detailed investigation into the reported incident involving the Fuji musician.

According to prior reports by LMSINT MEDIA, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) had earlier on Wednesday, launched a formal investigation into K1 De Ultimate’s unruly behavior during the boarding process at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. The disturbance allegedly interfered with the smooth flow of flight operations, prompting immediate attention from airport authorities.

What Really Happened?

Sources revealed that on Tuesday, the Fuji star attempted to board Flight VK201 from Abuja to Lagos while in possession of a golden flask containing unidentified content. When airport ground staff requested to inspect the flask’s content in line with aviation safety protocols, the musician allegedly refused their request aggressively.

Eyewitnesses, including airline personnel, confirmed that the artiste was seen sipping from the flask, which they strongly suspected contained alcohol—a substance strictly prohibited onboard Nigerian commercial aircrafts. Due to this suspicion and the artiste’s refusal to comply with safety checks, he was denied boarding.

The standoff reportedly escalated into an argument, resulting in a disturbance classified as a security breach, thereby triggering NCAA’s disciplinary action and ongoing investigation.
