Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has set the record straight regarding speculations about keeping her husband, Mr. Ezerika, out of the spotlight.
While speaking during an appearance on the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Diary of a Naija Girl, Kadiri addressed the circulating rumors and emphasized that her decision to keep her marital life away from the media is not rooted in secrecy but in a deliberate desire to avoid unnecessary drama and public interference.
“We go to church together, we attend events together, my life is not as private as people think. In the events I organize, my husband is always there,” Ruth stated during the conversation.
The talented actress and mother of two explained that although her husband is part of her life and public appearances, he personally chooses to live a low-profile lifestyle. She made it clear that they share their lives in meaningful ways, but she simply doesn’t see the need to broadcast every aspect of their relationship on social media or the internet.
Ruth Kadiri’s Perspective on Private Marriage Life
Ruth elaborated further, expressing her confusion about why fans or the public expect her to constantly post or display her marital relationship. She reassured everyone that her husband is not “hidden” and that their relationship is as real and active as any public one — just not displayed for show.
“For clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him. And for me, that’s enough. Like, I don’t know why I will sit down and be thinking, what am I proving?” she explained.
She affirmed that people who are truly part of her life already know her husband, and she finds that sufficient. Her point of view is based on valuing authenticity and peace over online validation or proving anything to strangers.
This candid insight from Ruth Kadiri provides a fresh perspective on celebrity marriages and the growing preference for privacy in relationships in an age dominated by oversharing on social media.
