Manchester United suffered a devastating 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth on Sunday, marking another setback for manager Ruben Amorim, who has now lost four of his nine games since taking over at Old Trafford.
The loss comes just days after their 4-3 League Cup quarter-final exit at Tottenham, deepening the struggles of Amorim’s tenure following his appointment in November to replace Erik ten Hag.
Bournemouth took an early lead in the first half, with Dean Huijsen scoring the opener. The misery for United intensified in the second half as Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo found the back of the net, sealing a comprehensive victory for the visitors.
This defeat raises further questions about Manchester United’s form under Amorim and casts a shadow over their ambitions for the season.
