Manchester United have officially confirmed the return of two players who were previously out on loan at lower-division clubs.
The development was announced by the club through an official statement published on Wednesday. The players involved are Joe Hugill and Habeeb Ogunneye, both of whom have now rejoined the Red Devils after completing their temporary spells.
During his time with Barnet, Hugill played as a central forward and was involved in several matchday squads. His last appearance for the Bees came on New Year’s Day, when Barnet secured a victory over Crawley Town. Hugill originally signed for Manchester United in 2020 after completing a move from Sunderland, where he began his professional career.
The return of both players allows Manchester United to reassess their development paths while keeping them within the club environment for future opportunities.
