Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has once again stirred controversy by making fresh, damning accusations against fellow star Iyabo Ojo. In a public social media post, Anjorin alleged that Ojo has been actively working behind the scenes to wreck her marriage and tarnish her reputation.
In a detailed Instagram post marking her 5th wedding anniversary, Lizzy Anjorin laid out a series of grave claims. According to the actress, Iyabo Ojo allegedly paid someone to secretly film her husband, forged a fake death certificate to fraudulently solicit public donations, and intentionally circulated false information on various popular Nigerian blogs, all aimed at bringing her down.
Furthermore, Anjorin accused Ojo of cunningly manipulating public sentiment to serve personal interests, a ploy that, according to her, has negatively impacted her family, especially her children.
Lizzy Anjorin’s Direct Words on Instagram
Part of Anjorin’s statement reads:
“Happy 5th wedding anniversary to me and my crown.
Dear Iyabo Ojo, marriage is supposed to be about kindness, loyalty, and mutual growth. It should not be about destruction or dismantling someone’s family. Marriage is about nurturing, building together, and offering each other second chances to grow and become better people.
Iyabo Ojo, I vividly recall when you called me, claiming that Senator Dino Melaye had given you a diamond wedding ring shortly after my wedding. At the time, I was unaware that this was a fabricated story. Why did you concoct such a lie? For what purpose exactly? Gangan.”
Legal Battle Between Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo
It’s worth noting that the feud between the two Nollywood actresses has been brewing for some time and has even escalated to the courtroom. Iyabo Ojo had previously initiated a ₦1 billion naira lawsuit against Lizzy Anjorin, citing alleged defamatory statements.
However, in a significant legal twist, the court dismissed Ojo’s suit and instead ordered her to pay ₦500,000 in legal costs — a clear setback for the actress.
