On Saturday, Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, presented new vehicles to senior staff at the director level, aiming to boost productivity and efficiency within the Assembly.
The ceremony, held at the Assembly complex, marked the second vehicle distribution phase in recent weeks, following an earlier handover to other senior staff members.
Recipients included directors and deputy directors from various departments.
During his address, Obasa highlighted the occasion as a significant step in creating a supportive and motivating work environment for Assembly staff.

He praised the Assembly as a model for legislative excellence, crediting its achievements to the dedication and professionalism of its team.
“We must uphold the progress we’ve made. The Lagos State House of Assembly has set a standard in this democracy for smooth governance,” Obasa stated.
Representing the beneficiaries, Clerk of the House Olalekan Onafeko commended the Speaker’s dedication to staff welfare.
