The Kogi State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has strongly criticized the recent ban imposed by the state government on political rallies and convoys, describing it as a deliberate attempt to stifle opposition voices and weaken democracy.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the State Chairman of SDP, Mr. Ahmed Attah, through the party’s Press Secretary, Isaiah Ijele, condemned the restriction, calling it an attack on fundamental democratic principles.
